What are the answers?
Are you finding, like many women out there, that there is not enough information to help you through this time of life. If you are suddenly experiencing some or many of the various symptoms that are a reaction to imbalanced and depleting hormones during your forties and fifties, then you are not alone. When this started happening to me I decided that I needed to take matters into my own hands and thus started on my journey of discovering exactly what this ‘peri-menopause’ time is all about and what I could do to help myself feel better.
On this short day we will give answers to questions such as:
“How do I know which hormones are out of balance?”
“Which foods can raise my oestrogen levels?”
“I’m not peri-menopausal yet but my mother had a terrible time - how can I offset the chances of experiencing what she did?”
“Will added testosterone help my libido?”
“How do I approach my employer about how I am feeling?”
“I feel fine except I am experiencing crippling anxiety and insomnia, what can I do about this?”
“I’m post-menopausal, what will help with continued symptoms now I am through the ‘change’”?
“What exactly are the risks of HRT to me and what are the alternatives?” or is it that you want to know when the current HRT shortages are going to end?

From the comfort of my colleague Kelly’s beautiful home in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire we are running short retreat days that will give you the answers you are looking for and ensure that you will leave armed with solutions that will enable you to move forward and embrace this time of change, rather than struggle through it.
The day starts at a leisurely 10.30am allowing you to get the kids to school or do some exercise beforehand - turning up in your gym kit is absolutely fine! Before we wrap up at 3pm you will enjoy a nutritious lunch that is all about balancing your hormones alongside which you will receive lots of tips as to what foods you need to include in your diet in order to feel your very best.
